If you require, we can provide a cleaning service for an additional charge. Breakfast and dinner can also be provided if requested. Please enquire on your arrival, additional charges apply.

A car-hire service (without driver), is available from Malaga Airport from the company "Holiday Car Hire, S.A". You will find more details at www.holidaycarhire.com, e-mail: info@holidaycarhire.com and also in the village. They can offer all types of vehicles, from 4x4's to mountain bikes and buggies.

Activities

• We can recommend different Walking Routes, for example the one that starts from Montejaque to "La Hermita de la Virgen de la Escarihuela" or the "Llanos de Libar".

• A visit to the "Centro de Interpretacion de la Espeleologia" (caving centre), one of the most documented and important in Andalucía.

• Traditional local produce centres such as meat and preserves.

• Local bakery which makes traditional muffins "Molletes" and traditional tarts "Tortas de Chicharrones" in a firewood oven. To avoid disappointment we recommend to place any orders one day in advance with the bakery, as they are very popular.

• We recommend the traditional "Tapas". The local bars have a great selection of tapas, from the local speciality pork dishes to fresh fish or stews.

• The patron's Feasts of Montejaque are celebrated during May and August, in the Virgen de la Concepción's honour, patron of Montejaque

• Nature Reserves. Experience some of the Walks around the Nature Reserves of Grazalema and Sierra de las Nieves. Or try out some of the "Adventure Sports" like climbing, canoeing, gorge walking, caving, 4x4, hill walking, etc.

• A visit to the cave "Cueva de La Pileta".

• Montejaque is only 18 km. from Ronda, a beautiful town with many historical sites of interest. There are also many villages close to Montejaque that are worth a visit.
